Careers

DC&M would not be where it is today without our experienced and dedicated lawyers and support team. We are committed to continuously attracting the best talent so that we can provide our clients with the very best results.

Our firm values maturity, vigor, a sense of humor, and an appreciation for the priceless individual strengths and diversity that characterize our firm. We encourage and expect everyone within our firm to provide quality service, to always show the greatest respect for each other and for all people with whom we come in contact, and to maintain a healthy balance between their work and personal lives.

DC&M seeks bright and dedicated law students from quality law schools, as well as seasoned lawyers in new or expanding practice areas, with a commitment to excellence. In support of our litigation and transactional practices, we strive to select summer associates who we think have the credentials necessary to succeed and who will fit our practice philosophy.

We are a committed equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, parenthood, family responsibility, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, creed, disability, age or veteran status. Our firm will reasonably accommodate an individual’s disability or religious affiliation as required by applicable law.

SUMMER ASSOCIATES
Our summer associate program is designed to provide a realistic picture of life as an associate at Davis, Cedillo & Mendoza. Our goal is for each summer associate to receive a sampling of the type of work that a junior associate would be assigned. Summer associates have numerous opportunities to draft documents, conduct legal research, and prepare or respond to motions and briefs.

We invite law students to interview with us during on-campus interviews or to contact us. We interview prospective students annually on campus at the University of Texas at Austin Law School and St. Mary’s University School of Law. Additionally, we welcome and consider resumes from students who attend other law schools.

LAW CLERKS
Davis, Cedillo & Mendoza retains law students to work with us throughout the academic year. As with the summer associate program, our goal is to give law clerks hands-on experience and exposure to our culture while they complete their academic programs.
